Hi. My name is Winifred Conrad, I am fourteen years old, and I am an artist and aspiring model (just getting started). Typically, I do exact reference drawings and portrait art, and I usually do these in pencil. This is because I am particularly interested in exact detail, and I love monotone shading. Any suggestions on how to improve technical aspects, anatomy, etc. in my drawings are greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated! However, if you're coming here just to tell me to develop an imagination (I've already got one, thanks), or to draw fairies, or that reference art takes no skill, please do not leave any comments on my art at all, because if that is what you feel, quite frankly, at this point in my life, I do not care about your opinion. Sorry. In the future, I do intend to branch away from exact reference, however, I am trying to teach myself to shade well, and I'm still trying to nail animal anatomy -- perfectly. I do know how to draw without reference, and if you are really bent on getting me to do that, I'll upload something that was drawn without any. (I'm best at human faces.)
